Through project-based support, our security consultants work with our customers on innovative solutions that promote cloud technology for the purpose of solving customer business problems faster and for long-term business expansion.

The AWS Professional Services is seeking a consulting Practice Manager who has experience in the field of Security, Risk and Compliance (SRC) working with Enterprise customers and can lead a team of security specialists across a range of related disciplines. As a Practice Manager, you will lead, hire and develop a team of technical security experts whose role will be to support customers as they migrate to and transform their business in the cloud, delivering the highest quality customer engagements and raising the bar on security. You will also lead internal initiatives to improve the way Professional Services engages with customers and delivers results. As Practice Manager you will work with the Partner Enablement Lead to identify and build relationships with key security partners to scale and supplement your team's delivery capabilities.

You will work with the Global Speciality Practice (GSP) and Domain Owners to leverage the standard packaged offerings, and support the GSP Partner Offering Team with publishing and sharing our best practices, secure operating principles, and repeatable offerings with our partner community. You will work to ensure we are implementing operational best practices internally, and applying AWS Architecture Design and Security Best Practices externally. You will help build and manage a team of Cloud Architect and Security experts with deep technical knowledge, and assist with the non-technical administrative work such as people management processes and changes.

As a Practice Manager, you are an innovative security leader with a successful history of working with customers to identify customer needs, delivering and governing best-in-class solutions, managing technical talent, and possessing the drive and experience to scale your teams impact to effectively meet the needs of our enterprise customers around the world. The role requires a strong combination of leadership, Customer facing experience, technical experience and people skills. You will be expected to speak authoritatively on behalf of your team and your technical knowledge should demonstrate both depth and breadth. You will be responsible for your team’s organizational structure and how that team works within the context of the larger strategic accounts segment. You will be a fast learner and effective coach; leveraging the strengths of individual team members, delegating tasks appropriately and managing delivery of long-term projects will all be critical tasks for this role. Managers in this role must be able to define metrics to quickly and accurately present the team’s performance and variance against its goals.

Basic Qualifications

• 必要に応じてクライアントの拠点に出向き、専門的なサービスを提供できる

• 日本語と英語のビジネス能力

• Consulting practice leadership as manager of sizable team with related goals and KPI’s, focused on security delivery, security services, and people development

• Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

• Experience with leading solution delivery in multiple security areas such as IAM, Incident Response, Compliance, Data Protection, or DevSecOps.

• 6+ years of experience delivering Consulting / Professional Services in leadership and execution roles

• 3+ years of direct people management leading a team of technical resources, preferably cloud security engineers

• Highly strategic and analytical, possessing 6 or more years of relevant IT experience

• Ability to travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed

• Business proficiency in Japanese, and English

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about cloud business, product, and technical security challenges

• Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services

• Enterprise security solution implementation and operations experience, including identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets
