Reston Limousine - Dispatcher

Immediate Need!

Reston Limousine is a 29-year-old family owned, employee focused passenger transportation company and the largest in the Washington, DC area. We are growing and searching for experienced Dispatchers to join our team in our Sterling, VA office!

We have full time and part time AM/PM positions available. Weekends are required! Compensation will be up to $20 per hours, depending on experience.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced dispatcher with the following strengths: Proven dispatch experience in a transportation, courier or trucking dispatch environment Extensive area knowledge VA, DC, MD Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast paced environment as a dispatcher Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills High energy level and sense of urgency

REQUIREMENTS: Client Service oriented professional with experience handling client complaints and problem solving in a transportation, courier or trucking dispatch environment Solid computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to master new programs quickly Strong communication skills and client support telephone experience Unmatched, precise attention to detail Ability to anticipate and identify potential service and logistical issues by understanding the big picture and all the details High school diploma or educational equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer incoming calls to dispatch department Communicate with drivers and clients by email and telephone Update dispatch logs, spreadsheets and systems Monitor the vehicle and driver grid Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles based on workload Establish rapport with drivers Maintain a close working relationship with the sales and fleet departments We offer:
