This position reports into Plant Planning Lead and is based at Petaling Jaya, Selangor Malaysia.

What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:

Generating, updating and maintaining the detailed production schedule within the appropriate horizon to deliver customer service, in line with site run strategy. Resolving manufacturing issues and communicating potential impact to relevant supply chain business partners. Responsible to track plan execution to ensure the right inventory health of the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planning and coordination of production schedules with the MPS given by SNP Planners.

• Monitor planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information.

• Establishes effective communication with various stakeholders such as Supply Network Planners, MRP Planners, Plant Production Leads (Mixing and Filling), Material Supply Lead and supervises orders from start to finish to ensure the on-time delivery of products.

• Supervise schedules and workflow to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely manner.

• Perform pre-organization of production materials before the commencement of production.

• Coordinate and develop production plans to ensure minimum wait time across equipment and utilize manpower effectively.

• Build efficient scheduling processes or methods so as to attain daily production goals.

• Co-ordinate/Ensure that orders for production materials so as to avoid shortage in inventory.

• Co-ordinate for rework etc are handled within the allocated scheduled available time.

• Generate production reports that are meant to be used for important (production) decisions.

• Work closely with maintenance/ engineering team to ensure maintenance of production equipment to avoid shut down during production are scheduled in the week.

• Anticipates production issues due to capacity to support new product launches.

• Directs production supervisors on supports new product launch meetings and new product forecasts by providing production schedule and analysis.

• Ensures master data is accurate and updated timely.

• Subject Matter Expert for Detailed Scheduling tool (e.g. Digital Scheduling)

• Bring to life and become an ambassador of Kenvue’s behaviors, purpose and values.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

• 3 years in a production environment, especially in production scheduling

• Strong organizational acumen and problem solving ability.

• Proficiency with software application – Excel , SAP and other planning tools.

• Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills.

• Self Starter and proactive in detecting and resolving issues.
