CROSSMARK FIELD ANALYST - FULL TIME in Salt Lake City, Utah

Crossmark is a full-service retail merchandising organization with an experienced field staff in all 50 states and Canada. We are committed to increasing sales and profits for our clients by delivering in-store solutions for their merchandising needs. Currently, there is an opening for a Field Analyst.

Under moderate supervision, the Field Analyst will complete field evaluation and data collection of multiple client products to determine the damage and expiration levels within the supply chain. This work will be accomplished professionally and timely using the provided training and acquired independent judgment to determine the condition of packaging, products, and handling processes.

This position requires the ability to travel independently, the potential to work on multiple shifts (1st-2nd-3rd), attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, professional communication skills, and some heavy lifting in both Retail and Warehouse settings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of all field operations processes, including scanning of barcodes, use of TRACE data collection program, review of packaging and handling processes, review of inbound and outbound trailer loading processes, and fuel sampling.

  • Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of company policies and product policies for each manufacturer client.

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative professional relationship with various warehouse managers and staff, Retail store managers, and internally with other departments throughout the LMS organization.

  • Pay close attention to detail during packaging analysis and data collection to meet company data collection quality standards.

  • Efficiently manage time and schedule to meet company productivity standards, including communicating and making study appointments as needed.

  • Overnight travel for 4-5 nights at a time.

  • Complete daily and weekly data uploads within the TRACE program to IT according to specified deadlines.

  • Expend and manage Company funds in accordance with the Company’s travel and expense policies.

  • Review all company communications (Email, Text, Phone Messages, etc.) daily, responding as necessary or required.

  • Complete and submit all electronic reports and paperwork in the specified time frame (call reports, expense reports, TRACE paperwork, etc.).

  • Supply competitive information whenever possible.

  • Maintain ongoing knowledge and expertise regarding all services.

  • Successfully complete training in all field-related services and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

An entry-level position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Any stocking, order picking, receiving, shipping, inventory, or quality control experience is highly desirable or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities.

The ability to travel overnight independently up to 75% of the time.

Strong attention to detail is highly desirable.

The ability to lift 50+ lbs. independently is required.

Warehouse experience is a plus.

Retail stocking/customer service experience is a plus.

Inventory quality control and auditing experience are a plus.

Shipping and Receiving experience a plus.

The loading and unloading of trucks experience a plus.

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office computer software package including Excel and Word

Reliable transportation to and from assigned client locations.

Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a timely and professional manner.

Proven organizational skills.

Ability to work with hazardous waste.

Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments.

Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands or arms.

Frequently required to walk, kneel, squat, bend or stoop and lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Regularly required to view items at an extremely close range.
