The specialists at M Health Fairview Sports Medicine Clinics include team physicians, certified athletic trainers, and physical therapists. We specialize in treating athletes of any caliber and returning them to the game as quickly and safely as possible. We focus on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, as well as injury prevention. Whether you are minimally active or an elite athlete, we are here for you. Athletic Trainer Overview Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinates prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid), rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of certification Provides all prescribed treatments and recommendations by attending physician Communicates optimally with patients and other members of the healthcare team Acts as a liaison between the patient being treated and the attending physician Completes appropriate continuing education to maintain license and certification(s) Minimum Qualifications: BOC Certified with an active Minnesota State Athletic Training License Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in an athletic training setting preferred Location: M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 Additional Locations: Maple Grove - 14500 99th Ave N Maple Grove, MN 55369 Hours: 40 hours/week Benefits: This is a fully benefit eligible position: Competitive wages, Healthcare (including vision & dental), 401K, parking & tuition assistance and more!
