JOB REQUIREMENTS: EMS Dispatcher - Wisconsin - 5789 Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Be extremely knowledgeable in service area * Give appropriate ETA\'s while accounting for type and level of response, traffic patterns, and weather conditions * Prioritize request for ambulance service * Communicate issues to marketing, management, and customers as necessary * Assist EMT\'s and Paramedics with directions as necessary * Maintain appropriate status of crews at all times * Oversee function of assistant dispatcher * Delegate additional responsibilities to assistant as necessary * Assist in receiving and entering in request for ambulance or medicar service as necessary * Communicate patient diversions and keep all appropriate associated records * Maintain status records and give appropriate ETA\'s for Critical Care Transport as necessary * Other duties as assigned Employee should be able to work under stressful conditions.
