JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The school bus scheduler arranges transportation of district students to and for school. Plan, organize and coordinate routing with the school district. Receiving and communicating information and performance other administrative functions in an active office setting. The primary goal of the scheduler is to receive information from a variety of sources, and provide that information to the dispatcher, school district and drivers in a efficient manner. Essential Functions Schedule, route and modify schedules, and stops to efficiency transport students on a day to day basis. Ability to evaluate changing conditions to include pupil load, class schedule to develop efficient us routes and operations. The ability to foster and maintain good working relationship with the public and the school district. Become an expert user of computer software system that is used for routing and scheduling. Keep a good relationship with the shop staff and the status of vehicles. Assist the sales staff in the proactive booking of all school bus charters.
