ABOUT YOU
As a Resident Engineer, you are meticulous and technically proficient, ensuring every aspect of construction projects aligns with Massport's standards. With your keen eye for detail and strong communication skills, you review drawings, schedules, and plans, providing invaluable feedback to project managers and contractors. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to safety make you a trusted presence on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and swift resolution of any issues that arise. You're dedicated to the successful completion of projects, driving forward progress, and maintaining the highest standards throughout every phase of construction.
What you will do:
Review and provide feedback on drawings, specifications, and estimates to ensure alignment with Massport requirements.
Assess construction schedules for feasibility within Massport's specified timeline.
Conduct constructability reviews to identify potential challenges and provide solutions.
Participate actively in project Safety Huddles to prioritize safety on-site.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience in design, construction, and inspections across various infrastructure sectors.
Maintain a current and valid Driver’s license with unrestricted use, except for corrective lenses.
Demonstrate working knowledge of all Massachusetts state building codes and regulations.
