This position supports finance operations for Emergency and On-Demand Services to include Emergency Departments, Urgent Cares and Kids Express locations as well as the trauma department. This position works collaboratively with the finance department to provide assistance with business responsibilities including, but not limited to, oversight of business operations in collaboration with clinical leaders; strategic planning; preparation of financial analysis; promotes ongoing development of financial management skills of managers, staff and physicians; monitors reimbursement; monitors CMS regulations as related to billing and reimbursement. Collaborates with revenue cycle with the implementation of new sites or new services. Monitors provider charges at Urgent Cares and Kids Express to ensure appropriate levels. Supports all provider practices in Emergency Services (ED, UC & KE) for 100 or more providers. Responsible for provider: payroll, on-boarding, schedule, incentive metric tracking, and contract hour tracking. This position also prepares all presentations for our provider meetings, and all ED/UC operations meetings. The office coordinator and office manager directly report to this position.

Department Specific Job Details:

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program required; MHA or MBA preferred.

Experience

3+ years healthcare experience required.

Billing experience/ Practice management experience preferred.
