For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Qualifications:

• Previous training in unit dose systems and IV preparation is preferred.

• Ability to perceive differences in similarly named products.

• Finger dexterity, and mechanical aptitude in operation and maintenance of unit dose machines and typing.

• Must be able to perform short cycle repetitive activities.

• Ability to occasionally lift heavy boxes (approximately 25-30 pounds).

• Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

Education:

• High School diploma with math and science background.

Responsibilities:

• Works under supervision of pharmacists. Assists pharmacists by performing various clerical duties such as typing and recording. Will assist the pharmacists in arranging medication shelves as needed; filling unit dose bins, and assists in the IV room. Operates unit dose equipment under supervision of a pharmacist. Operates Printing Machine. Assists in restocking storage shelves. Although work is generally light, lifting cartons of 25 to 30 pounds is not unusual
