As an Allison Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or overhauling Allison transmissions operating in a variety of On Highway applications. This position will require you to work closely with the branch service team utilizing internal technical resources and Allison Technical Assistance Center to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction and to uphold Allison's quality standards. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity.

Location: Auburn, WA 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing Allison Transmission performance complaints, determining root cause of failure using efficient and accurate troubleshooting methods.
• Perform quality repairs and routine maintenance on Allison transmissions and other related systems/equipment such as PTOs, etc.
• Inspect parts to ensure proper quality and operation.
• Accurately create repair estimates based on diagnosis.
• Complete and document repair information for work orders.
• Comprehension of troubleshooting steps and/or working with Allison TAC.
• Dedicate yourself to all Company and industry safety standards for an injury-free workplace.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of Allison Transmission repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge in assorted vehicle systems, (brakes, emissions, A/C).
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting Allison Transmissions accurately for repairs.
• Familiarity with Allison DOC diagnostic software, Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
